May 28, 2017 – Memorial Day Weekend 2017 is in full swing, with plenty of great baseball to watch (or, if you’re coming back to this page from the future, to Rewatch). Enjoy our top picks of the most entertaining, interesting, and best-quality baseball from across the Major Leagues on this beautiful Sunday.
We choose a handful of baseball games each and every day, based on how close, tense, and exciting the games are. We include low-scoring, tight, well-pitched games, ones with huge lead swings and comebacks, extra innings duels, and newsworthy highlight-filled games of unusual plays or performances.
But here’s the trick – unlike other baseball sites, we don’t tell you exactly why this or that particular game was chosen. You’ll have to watch, and experience the game as if it were live, to find out more.
Typically, we will choose 2-6 games from each day of the MLB season. Today was one of those statistically rare days in which most matchups didn’t meet our criteria. I personally watched the Cardinals/Rockies game, and it was certainly time well spent. It appears that just about every game throughout the majors on this lazy Sunday were about the same… quality baseball, classic summer entertainment, but nothing exceptional. So I would encourage you to pick just about any random game from today – perhaps your favorite team’s game – or watch our Game of the Day listed below.
